We are off to a great start with fall music at Pacific Hills! The organ concert featuring Simon Pick was fantastic and had a wonderful selection of music! We had a decent attendance with 43 attendees. Our music ensembles started this last weekend and resumed seamlessly. We are looking for additional members to join the choir and the bell choir, no previous experience is required, just a great attitude! The choir generally meets at 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings, and the bell choir meets 11:45 a.m. to approximately 12:30 p.m. on Sundays. If you are interested in joining, or even just trying one of the ensembles, feel free to show up at one of the rehearsals, we would be glad to have you!
We have some exciting musical opportunities coming up in October at Pacific Hills. The Concordia High School Chorale Choir is joining us in worship on October 22nd. They will be sharing a collection of music with us before, throughout, and after the first service, as well as before and throughout the second service. They are very excited to join us and share their musical gifts! The following week, for Reformation Sunday on October 29th, we will have a brass quartet from UNO joining us at our 9:00 a.m. service and sharing their festive music! I am very excited to have both groups join us in October, and I hope you enjoy their contributions to worship at Pacific Hills!
