Pacific Hills Lutheran Church will hold its annual Rally Day on Sunday, September 13, 2020, during the Sunday School Hour, 9:00 – 10:00 am. We’ll kick off fall programming and educational programs, share faith milestones, and enjoy an outside, socially-distanced breakfast.
If you or your children are not regularly in the Word, now is the time to rededicate yourself and your family. Get your kids involved with our online Sunday school. Join us for Sunday morning adult Bible study, or a study throughout the week. More info below.
Pastor will discuss our Milestone Ministry, presenting Lord’s Prayer medallions for our kindergartners and 1st graders. Our 4th graders will be presented with their very own Faith Alive Bibles. We will also learn about the Four Keys to Nourishing Faith.
Sunday School will look different at Pacific Hills Lutheran Church this year. Because of the pandemic and building renovations, Sunday School will move to an online platform at least through the end of the year. We will offer teaching videos (one for lower and one for upper elementary), posted weekly so families can watch and participate at their convenience. Packets of student activities and materials for the semester will be available at Rally Day. A possible outdoor activity may be held on Sunday mornings or online.
Adult Bible class will begin meeting in-person on Sunday, September 20, in the sanctuary, focusing on the service lessons.
There will be a Zoom Bible study this fall, led by Bob Vandervort. That is still being planned; look for more information in our Messenger newsletter.
