Rally Day Kickoff is Sunday, September 8
Rally Day at Pacific Hills signals to us that the summer has ended and the fall program is underway.
Sunday school classes will begin their new program on September 8.
All Sunday school teachers, and adult Bible Class facilitators, will be installed at the 10:30 am service and, as in the past, there will be a pot- luck breakfast between the services which the congregation is encouraged to attend. There is a sign-up sheet in the Narthex to sign-up to bring a potluck breakfast item to share, or you may send Sandra Glissmann an email and inform her what you would like to bring.
The curriculum for Sunday School will be: CPH’s “Enduring Faith”. The curriculum this year will be a Bible survey course and will begin with the children learning about creation. All along the way the lessons learned will have application to our life of faith. Kay Storck will teach the same curriculum at an adult level. The Adult Bible Class, in Acker Hall, will be led by Dr. Bob Vandervort or Pastor Drebes. Currently they are studying Philemon.
If you are not regularly in the Word, now is the time to rededicate your- self. Now is the time to get involved with a Sunday morning Bible Study or a Bible Study throughout the week, or both! As church family, let us strive to equip and encourage one another to grow in our walk with Christ.
Blessings,
Pastor Bryan E. Drebes
