Sanctity of Life Month

January is Sanctity of Life Month and we observe Sanctity of Life Sunday on January 22nd.

This year we again partner with Essential Pregnancy Services of Omaha to make a difference in the lives of at-risk mothers and their unborn and newly born children. EPS is our Mission of the Month for January. We are collecting diapers for children newborn to age 2, as well as baby bottles, diaper cream, onesies 18-24 mo. long sleeve; pullups sizes 2T -5T, silicone teethers, sippy cups, thermometers and toys for babies and toddlers. Cash donations are also much appreciated. Life is a gift from the Lord. Psalm 139:13-18 reminds us that we are "fearfully and wonderfully made."

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand.”
Psalm 139:13-18

The EPS Banquet is scheduled for February 23, 2023 at the CHI Center in Omaha. For those who would like to attend, please get the date on your calendar, and look in the Messenger for more information in the coming weeks.
