The Pacific Hills Courtyard Jazz Series is back for for 2021!  Omaha area musicians will perform in the courtyard at Pacific Hills Lutheran Church three times this Summer.  

The Tuffy Epstein Quintet will perform for our 3nd event this summer at 7:00 PM on August 8, 2021.

The Cuban Missile Crisis

The the Latin jazz trio "The Cuban Missile Crisis" includes three veteran performers; Matt Wallace (Saxophone), Joey Gulizia (Percussion and woodwinds) and Michael Pujado (percussionist).

Matt Wallace (left) - Omaha native saxophonist Wallace toured with Maynard Ferguson to over 70 countries. He plays everything from jazz to rock to pop in a dozen local bands. Visit Matt's Facebook page.

Joey Gulizia (center) - Gulizia is a native of Omaha, where he has played music professionally since age 10. He can be heard on jingles for TV and radio and on many CDs. Visit Joey's  Facebook page.

Michael Pujado (right) - Pujado is a talented percussionist who was born in Santiago, Chile, but has been playing and teaching music in the United States for over 20 years. Visit Michael's Facebook page.

 

The Omaha Quarantines

Julie Baker and The Omaha "Quarantines" will kickoff the series with a performance at 7:00 PM on June 13, 2021.

Julie Baker's gifts and talent as vocalist, educator, director, performer and choreographer have brought her to the place where she is today. Her life has come full circle as she once again is focusing on her love of performing - just as she did where it all began back in the small town of Ericson, Nebraska.

Mark Haar and Jennifer Novak Haar perform together extensively around Omaha, the Midwest, and beyond. They toured nationally with the Mannheim Steamroller Christmas 2019 tour, play for Broadway touring productions and local theater, with the Omaha, Lincoln, Sioux City and Sioux Falls Symphonies, and in many jazz venues in the area. They are joined by drummer Doug Montera.

Performances will be in the Moorhead courtyard on the south side of the church.  Pacific Hills Lutheran church is at 90th & Pacific (1110 S 90th St.).

The food truck offers Burgers and Spuds- many ways and you name your price! They are a food truck for everyone and every budget!

Vouchers are an opportunity for people to pay it forward to others who may eat at the truck or café who are not able to pay for their meal with money but may offer time as a volunteer. The vouchers are $8 each and cover a meal. You are welcome to buy as many as you would like or simply donate above and beyond the cost of your meal and we will put that funding toward future patrons in need.
